This Quilt made of neckties was from a collection of the same type of ties. I love the sunburst of the different stripes. I added a border of leftovers from the cut ties.
I am a longarm quilter, and quilt teacher. I would like to share some of the projects that I am working on with you.

Hot Chicks quilt
Made this quilt for a baby gift for a friends baby shower. I may have to make another as I really like it. ;o)

Wallhanging embellished with ribbon and fabric flowers.
What a great use for leftover blocks. Put the blocks together, add some dimensional flowers and ribbon flowers to add a little pop to the quilt.
Quick and Easy Lap Quilt
This quilt pattern really shows off the great batik fabrics. Love the combination of black and turquoise.
Fabulous Frogs!
Finally finished the Frog Quilt for a class I will be teaching after the first of the year. I really like the little guys. Now for a twin size version for my favorite little frog lover!

Nine Patch Variation
I made this quilt for my daughter & son-in-law for Christmas. This is a variation of a nine patch block.
Seashore landscape quilt
This quilt is a landscape quilt of one of my favorite places to walk. The shells and sea glass are objects that I found while walking on the beach or were given to me by others who enjoy the beach as much as I do. Even the driftwood that the quilt hangs from was rescued on the beach by my husband and works great to display this quilt.

Completed this little crab quilt. Quite a cutie. Now on to work on some samples for classes I am teaching locally as well as some special order quilts.

Mom's Quilt
This is the first time I have tried my hand at designing my own quilt rather than following a pattern. A challenge but I like the way it came out and I love the fabrics.
Sweet Dreams
This quilt was so much fun! I love the thread velvet that the embroidery adds. A nice feel for the little ones.
A close up
Zenquility
This quilt was completely pieced, quilted and bound before the embellishments were added. The raw edge applique and dimensional flower center add great texture to the quilt.
